bikeportland.org has the skinny on a lame burglary that happened this morning at the Community Cycling Center. They broke in and ransacked the place, stealing bikes, and parts.. Shameful. Hopefully they get back from community here as much as they’ve tried to put into it. Good Luck.
Well he’s not offically walking on his own. But he has mastered walking with the aid of some sort of rolling aparatus. This weekend we were out having a fun afternoon walking around Alberta St in NE Portland and running some errands. Eden stuck him behind this cool cart device they’re selling at Grasshopper and pointed him across the large hardwood floor they have there and he just took off! I captured that video on my phone but of course the quality sucks when transfering it to anything other than the small screen of another phone.
When we got home however, I stuck him behind the great car/walker transformoid that Grandma Janet got him for the holidays and zounds! he was at it again!
Now he’s a pro. Even walls and other objects won’t stop him. He simply rams whatever he’s encountered over and over again until Daddy steps in and turns him around sending him off in the other direction, or if it’s a non-fixed object he just pushes it right along with him.
If you’re looking for an awesome laundry mat in NE Portland Eliot E-Mat Cafe located in the Standard Dairy on MLK.
Free Wifi, food (not free), and it looks like they have terminals and printers that you can use for a fee. Seems quiet during the day and has nice machines.
ps.
cat pukes between comfortor and blankets at 3 a.m. == need for laundry mat
