Hi,
Congratulations on OpenID-enabling your website! You have taken the first step towards increasing signups and logins on your blog. JanRain, as a leader in OpenID technology and services, is working with over 5,000 domains and 1,000 affiliates on their OpenID needs. We wanted to introduce you to some free and easy solutions that you can add to your OpenID implementation. In addition, should your OpenID needs grow, JanRain offers a suite of OpenID enablement products and services which you can learn more about at www.JanRain.com.
The ID Selector (www.idselector.com) dramatically improves the OpenID login experience for your users, and/or our Affiliate Program allows your users to get an OpenID without difficulty and then seamlessly return to your site already logged in (www.myopenid.com/affiliate). They are both free and easy to implement!

Go ahead and check out the products, and let me know if there is anything I can help you with here at JanRain.

All the best,
Hannah Halpenny

Interestingly, you don't have to have an openid to post a comment because I have comments open, although moderated. Also, if you register with the site using your openid then of course you can be logged in and not have to fill out all the comment form information. Mostly using this plugin with my blog gives me some extra powers around my openid identity. If this was a site with multiple users/blogers having openid as a authentication and registration method is a fantastic tool. It's definitely a good tool for me to have configured.
